CAIRNS CAR SERVICING
INADEQUATE MAINTENANCE & SERVICING OF YOUR MOTOR VEHICLE SERIOUSLY INCREASES THE RISK OF CATASTROPHIC MECHANICAL FAILURE !
Whether you own a racing car or a standard family car your vehicle requires regular servicing to ensure peak performance, lower
running costs and reduced chance of failure. As a rule, the higher the performance requirements of your car, the more servicing and
maintenance is required. To give you an understanding of this concept, drag cars have their engines completely overhauled after
almost every run, while a small family car that is hardly used may only require an oil change or minor service every 1-2 years.
Please note that it is difficult to give you exact pricing for servicing and any other work without knowing the age, make and model of
your vehicle. The cost of our complete service starts around $280 and will be different for every vehicle due to many factors. Here are a couple of examples… Some vehicles have a larger sump and thus will require more oil during an oil change or because of the type of engine
will require a more expensive oil. Some vehicles, although they have the same amount of cylinders, will require a more expensive type of sparkplug. These may range from $5 to $35 each depending on the vehicle requirements. Some vehicles have larger radiators and will require a lot more coolant when flushing the radiator. There are many of these factors which will change the price of your service. We do however, try our best to keep your costs down and will recommend the cheaper options where applicable.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN OUR COMPLETE SERVICING ?

realise that we do!

major issues that need to be addressed then we will notify you before we commence any work and provide you with a full list of
options.

OUR LOGBOOK SERVICING WILL NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY !
In Australia manufacturers are not allowed to exclusively hold you to their own workshops in order for you to keep your warranty.
Every new car comes with a logbook and it is this magical item that holds the key to your new car warranty. In your logbook it will
have milestone service requirements that must be performed to keep your car in top and warrantable condition.
The price charged for a logbook service is dependent on the condition of your car and also on the recommended inclusions from
your vehicles manufacturer. We will provide you with a fixed-price quote based on the vehicle and service type when you make your
booking, so you will know exactly how much the logbook Service will cost.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH SERVICE ?
The main difference between any so called major service, minor service or logbook service is that in a major service (which
could also be termed a logbook service) certain components on the vehicle need to be checked or replaced that under normal
circumstances either don’t need checking or replacing. For example the oil in an automatic gearbox is not recommended for change
by some manufacturers until around 150,000 km and some even say never. Others recommend that it be changed around 50,000 –
75,000km. It is important however to make the distinction between checking and changing. It is important to check all systems for
minor failures and leaks and failing to do so can put you and your family at risk.
If you have any questions regarding your motor vehicle or our service please come in and see us. We love to meet with our
customers, both old and new to keep you up to date on the condition and safety aspects of your vehicle. We are more than happy to
take a quick look at your car, 4WD, SUV or light commercial vehicle and give you an appraisal as to it’s condition and future service
requirements.
As our name suggests, at Everything Automotive we service pretty much everything and perform every kind of service you may
require from complete engine rebuilds to changing filters. If you require something that is not on the list please call us so we can
